Searching for Chandelier Parts?

The Chandelier Replacement Parts You Are Looking For

Accidents Happen: The Need for Replacement Chandelier Parts

You reach up to replace a bulb or clean some cobwebs from your chandelier and accidentally crack one or more of the glass chandelier shades. Your child launches a toy with a small but incredibly strong arm, directly into the chandelier. It swings wildly for a few moments, and then several pieces rain down in the aftermath. Or perhaps your chandelier has simply celebrated many good years of illuminating your home, and general wear and tear leads you to need replacement parts. Whatever the reason, a piece of art like your chandelier deserves to be whole and beautiful.

Find Chandelier Replacement Parts Online

So you have a chandelier in need of repair. How do you go about locating the necessary pieces? One of your fastest and easiest methods is the Internet. There are several sites from which to choose to help make your chandelier complete once again. These sites often supply a variety of crystal chandelier parts. Of course the crystals they supply may be of varying qualities, so it is necessary to establish the quality of crystal within your present chandelier so that the new parts match and blend in with the rest of the parts of the chandelier. Another point to be aware of is that, even though the quality of the new part matches the original parts, you may well need to clean the whole of the chandelier to ensure a proper matching. Whether you are looking for crystal prisms or rock crystal, you should be able to locate what you need. Iron replacement parts for a wrought iron chandelier are probably more limited to standard production pieces, but are still worth a good scout around.

Finding The Name Of The Chandelier Part

One of the secret to success in finding the part you are looking for is to know the technical name. Of course we are all familiar with chandelier shades, bulbs and sockets, but there are many other names as well. Other parts that are easily found include: chandelier arm, bodies and columns, candle cup. Then there are parts like the pendalogue, which is a hanging ornament; or the bobeche which collects the dripping wax. You have the finials, canopies, collars and chains for suspending and supporting the chandelier. Then there are the various chandelier candle covers, pins, wires, and hooks. It is worth keeping your chandelier sparkling and in pristine shape with these relatively low-cost replacement parts – much cheaper than buying a new crystal or antler chandelier.

would like to know where I can get the part that strands of crystals can hang from. It is round and has curved arms, I would be able to place on a tall vase or put chains on it to hang. I want to use for decoration at weddings and such.
